Do I buy books here?
Bring your own EPUB or text-based PDF. The app creates narration from the files you import; it is not a bookstore. Scanned image-only PDFs need text recognition first.
What does “pay only for what you generate” mean?
You can generate audio progressively as you listen, with a few passages prepared ahead. If you generate the whole book to download, the cost covers the whole book, even if you haven’t listened to it all yet. Replaying existing audio does not incur another narration charge.
What happens when I listen again?
The app reuses an existing recording for the same text and voice. Replaying it does not require another narration generation. A new voice or changed text may need new audio.
Does Key ideas replace my book?
No. It is a separate, AI-generated edition with its own chapters and listening position. You can switch back to the full book and follow source links to check context. Fiction can use a story recap that includes spoilers, with your confirmation.
Can I listen offline?
In the installed native app, generate and download the passages you want before going offline. A partial download only covers those passages. The browser player requires a connection for content that is not already available.
